About Carol
Galanty
For
the
past
ten
years,
Carol
Galanty
has
been
taking
pictures
in
the
Hamptons
for
those
wanting
to
photo
journal
their
lives.
Self
taught,
her
business
grew
from
friends
and
family
noting
her
own
shots
of
her
family
and
asking
her
to
come
and
document
theirs.
After
the
word
of
mouth
business
took
off,
she
decided
to
study
under
photographers
she
admired
and
felt
reflect
her
desire
to
capture
a strong
image
in
day
to
day
environment
of
her
subjects.
She
has
studied
in
Tuscany
under
the
direction
of
Nation
Geographic
photographer,
Raul
Touzon.
She
studied
portraiture
under
the
late
world-renowned
Monte
Zucker.
And,
she
is
looking
forward
to
working
with
the
talented
maternity
and
newborn
portrait
artist
Sandy
Puc
this
summer.
Galanty’s
work
has
been
shown
in
The
Crazy
Monkey
Gallery
in
Amagansett
and
The
Fine
Focus
Gallery
in
Quogue.
Whether
it’s
a wedding
or
life
marking
event,
or
a portrait
for
a family,
Carol’s
unique,
natural
approach
to
a project
has
a special
touch
that
pleases
her
