Your portrait session can take place at our studio, your home, the beach or other location of your choice. We will take as much time as needed to get the photographs you desire. A typical session lasts about one and a half to two hours. You will never feel rushed.
Approximately two weeks after your session, a viewing appointment is scheduled which takes place at the studio. You will be shown a slideshow presentation of the images from your photo shoot. Carol will assist you with finalizing your portrait order at this time. In addition to the prints that you order, you may choose from a wide variety of other products that can be seen at the studio.
Carol is very helpful in deciding how to display your photographs as wall art in your home. A variety of frames and canvas gallery wraps are available ranging from traditional to contemporary. There is also an exquisite line of handmade folios and presentation boxes that will complement any décor.
The custom designed Hardcover Coffee Table Book collection has been exceedingly popular with Carol’s clients, providing a wonderful keepsake of the day. Leather bound flush mount or traditionally mounted albums are a timeless way of preserving special memories. What better way to recall your baby’s first milestones than with a Baby’s First Year album documenting the amazing changes that take place during that brief period in time.
Our newest product line is a collaboration of photography and an ancient Greek technique called encaustic painting. The result is an exquisite work of art on wax and wood that is breathtaking and truly a unique work of art that you will treasure for years to come.
Portrait session fees must be paid in full upon booking. Credit cards are accepted. If purchasing a package, 50% is paid upon booking with the remainder due at the time of the first session. As a mother of three, Carol understands that children get sick at the last minute and babies get cranky at unpredictable times. She will work with you to reschedule your session whenever necessary.

Carol’s approach to wedding and event photography is to be as unobtrusive as possible while quietly documenting the day as it unfolds. Her photojournalistic style enables her to capture spontaneous moments with truly timeless results. Although Carol believes that people look their best when they aren’t aware of the camera, the day would not be complete without some formal group shots. These photographs document your family history and no album would be complete without them, but they are done quickly and painlessly so you are free to enjoy the day with your family and friends.

You will be shown a slideshow presentation of the images from the day and Carol can assist you with finalizing your selections for your album(s). You can also choose to bring your proofbook home if you aren’t ready to make your selections at this time.
We carry a wide selection of custom designed albums from contemporary flush mount albums and coffee table books to more traditional leather bound albums. Carol can assist you in choosing the style that is right for you and will then custom design the layout of the book.
